Despite all of the crazy weather Robin and Sue have made good progress on the construction of the Merry Sea. The wind and rain required more detail to the weather proofing of the work space and Robin and Tom took care of that. They also butt joined all 18 hull sections which when completed make up the six hull sections, 2 bilge, 2 middle and 2 top, each 22' feet long.
Sue and Robin epoxied all the frames and bulkhead sections and Richard, Robin and Sue put on a layer of glass on the inside of the two bilge sections and epoxied the inside of all the hull sections.
While those are curing, the next steps are to install the bulwarks on the top hull sections and then the fun beings, wiring the sections together. That may begin this weekend?
