My Sister and I made it back to Pt. Townsend this morning. I can report that on their first day on the water, they crossed Behm Canal a distance of about 20 miles, staying on the BC side and not stopping at Mary Island. Their 2nd day saw them to Foggy Bay some 15 miles . Sue called that night and didn't think they'd reach Prince Rupert the next day. Rowing conditions were fine, but I think the distance was farther than they had anticipated.
We got back on the AMHS Ferry Sunday at 3:00PM and asked the officers of the bridge to call out if they spotted them, but we never did see them. Cell phone reception was down so we will wait till this evening for the next call.
I would imagine their heading down Grenville Channel, then Wright Sound and Princess Poyal Channel.
I hear the web site has been down, but is now back up. I will have their launch pictures loaded soon.
